If you asked me what cosmetic is the most precious to me, and which beauty product I don’t mind spending money on, then I’d tell you that this is a face serum. I’m hung up on this skincare product, no lies. Eye cream is my second fave but I’m not going to talk about it today.
Coming back to the centrepiece of this post, recently I laid my hands on Nanoil vitamin C face serum. I fell in love with it the moment I looked at the list of ingredients. My affection for this product was growing even bigger with every positive review I’d read. I knew I needed to have this marvel so I bought it right away.

VITAMIN C – one of the cosmetic ingredients that has been very carefully poked and prodded by scientists and laboratorians. Belonging to the strongest natural anti-oxidants, vitamin C has many benefits for skin. For example, it defies wrinkles and aging spots. Actually, this vitamin is good for all skin types, having the same effects for all of them: stimulating collagen production, strengthening walls of capillaries, brightening pigmentation spots and improving suppleness. This is an energy boost for skin! Now I fully understand why vitamin C has no equal.

The face serum by Nanoil offers a really well-thought-out formula. The fact that this is an oil-free product was what made me want to test it in the first place. Why? Because in most cases vitamin C face serums have oil as the base ingredient because heavy solutions (mainly oils) help stabilize vitamin C, but not this time. Nanoil face serum isn’t only non-greasy but it also contains an exceptional form of vitamin C – 3-O-ethyl-l-ascorbic acid which is the latest achievement of cosmetology, a derivative of pure vitamin C. It’s proven to wield the strongest power over skin blemishes. It’s worth pointing out that this form of vitamin C doesn’t break down when exposed to the sunlight, high temperatures or lipids that our skin is covered with. This is a really huge success because vitamin C was remaining unstable for years. But no longer.

Non-greasy and lightweight face serum that is fast-absorbing. It doesn’t let skin shine even after a few hours. Additionally, it doesn’t ruin makeup and improves the appearance of skin so amazingly, that after a couple of uses I resigned from applying a high-coverage foundation. Instead, I do only lashes and lips in the morning, and I’m ready to go.

Now, let’s focus on the ingredients. In the 1.69 fl. oz (50 ml) bottle, Nanoil poured a mixture of the amazing vitamin C (which I’ve already told you about) and Punarnava root extract. What is that? Well, this is a plant recognized mostly in Asia for its wonderful effect on skin. If you want to learn more about Punarnava benefits, look it up in some Ayurveda books. In general this plant, also known as Boerhaavia diffusa, is able to brighten up, rejuvenate and leave you with perfectly-looking skin. This means that vitamin C has quite a helper.

1st WEEK OF USING NANOIL VIT. C FACE SERUM To be honest, I was pretty surprised when I noticed the first effects, which were quick. I used to have skincare products enriched with vitamin C but it was either MAP or SAP, or even worse, this doing-almost-nothing ascorbyl glucoside. Now I can see the difference between stable vitamin C and its unstable derivatives clearly. And the difference is huge! It took me just a couple of days to see well-rested, pleasant to the touch and moisturized skin.
4th WEEK OF USING NANOIL VIT. C FACE SERUM After a month-long vitamin C treatment I see my skin doing great: it’s smooth, even-toned, pores are barely noticeable, and it’s glowing! And this is exactly how vitamin C should work! I’m highly satisfied with Nanoil Vitamin C Face Serum and how it affects my skin.
