It’s been a long time since there has been a beauty ranking on the blog, and I know how much you like them, so it’s high time to answer the question you often ask: what is the best brow pencil? I checked several different ones but decided to include only the bst ones in my ranking. Here’s a list of my favorite noteworthy brow pencils. Check out which brow pencil is most recommended!
Best brow pencils – my top 9 picks
1. Nanobrow Eyebrow Pencil – the best brow pencil
I haven’t found a single flaw in it! There is nothing to complain about! This is the best brow pencil EVER! It is thin, precise, and has great hardness and pigmentation. The shades are intense and very well-selected to match any complexion. The Nanobrow brow pencil is long-wear, very efficient, and, in addition, comes at an excellent price! A dream beauty product! I highly recommend it to all of you! In fact, this pencil ensures you can create full brow makeup, you do not need any additional products.
2. KVD BEAUTY Signature Brow
I’m very fond of Kat Von D cosmetics as they have never disappointed me so far. The same is the case with this super malleable, pigmented, and long-wearing pencil. There are countless shades to choose from, and it’s best to check them out in person the first time you buy it as it might be too hard to find the perfect shade online. The pencil creates very bold, strong, and beautiful brow looks.
3. Urban Decay Brow Beater 2.0
Urban Decay translates into perfect and world-class quality. Their brow pencil is also well made. It’s waxy, waterproof, and enriched with vitamin E and argan, and coconut oil. The tip may be too soft for some, and the angled shape doesn’t draw quite the kind of lines I’m after, but when it comes to filling in my brows with color, this pencil does a great job instantly! Too bad it’s not very efficient, and the graphite runs out quickly.
4. Benefit Cosmetics Precisely MY BROW
For many, My Brow from Benefit is the best brow pencil. For me, it’s just a nicely made pencil with good quality, like all Benefit products. I liked it for its long-wear effects and a large selection of shades. Brow makeup, done with this pencil also looks pretty good. It’s a decent product, but the price could be a bit lower.
5. Huda Beauty Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil
Huda is one of the more popular brands in the world of makeup products, so Bomb Brows Microshade Pencil is an eagerly recommended brow pencil. The graphite is ultra-thin and made with attention to detail. It can be used to draw hair-like strokes to make the brows appear thicker. The pigmentation could be better for such a soft tip, but overall the pencil produces very nice makeup effects! Also, this brow pencil is waterproof
6. Make Up For Ever Aqua Resist Brow Definer
This brow crayon from MUA surprised me with its durability. It features a really nice thin graphite and is efficient, which probably is the reason why it’s so pricey…some reviews claimed that the tip is too soft and sometimes crumbles and smudges on the skin. In fact, it also happened to me once that my makeup done with this pencil smudged. This brow pencil comes in 5 shades and has a waterproof formula.
7. Charlotte Tilbury Brow Cheat
Super expensive, but a really decent brow crayon that works well and comes in 8 lovely shades and a refined, great tip. Plus for the innovative idea: this pencil comes with refills, but I haven’t found them anywhere in-store or in any online drugstore so far…
8. Shiseido BROW INKTRIO
This is a rather unusual 3-in-1 brow pencil: the case involves a retractable brow pencil, brow powder with an applicator, and a spoolie for brushing the brows. The powder, unfortunately, didn’t work for me at all as it’s not as pigmented as I would like it to be, and when applied over the pencil it ruins the effect… of course, this is my subjective opinion. Being dual-sided, the graphite is shorter and the pencil runs out quickly. For me, it is not a noteworthy purchase. It’s a shame as the brow pencil itself works really lovely! It is available in 4 shades.
9. Too Faced Super Fine Brow Detailer
The Too Faced brand has become famous primarily for its iconic mascara. Are their products also equally good for eyebrows? The Too Faced brow pencil is quite decent, although its angled tip is thicker and doesn’t ensure such precision as the other pencils described here. The 8 shades are a spot-on choice, but some are too orangey in my opinion, and don’t match many beauty types. The pencil is efficient, soft, and well pigmented, but unfortunately, expensive.
That’s all for today, I hope I helped with making a decision and that my ranking included the best brow pencil for your needs too. Until the next one, hugs!
