Realash makes use of the success of its eyelash serum. I haven’t tried the serum because I believe my natural lashes are fine and I don’t need a drag queen look. The absurd price also scared me away, lots of money for a small capacity. On the other hand, I’m aware many of you have used Realash serum with quite good effects. That’s why I got tempted to get Realash mascara. I was taken by its silicone, hygienic and precisely-looking spiral with thick bristles.
The design of Realash mascara isn’t impressive: plastic bottle, the color… something similar to turkois, azure, mint… I don’t like this kind of esthetics when it comes to beauty products but ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’, right?
The price of Realash mascara is quite affordable (much cheaper than the serum). It holds 8 ml. The pigmentation is good – an intense, deep black. The spiral looks good. After taking it out of the bottle, I didn’t notice any clumps. Sadly, the mascara itself doesn’t settle on the spiral either. I don’t know why it happens this way, maybe it’s due to the consistency that didn’t live up to my expectations. Eyelash coating took me ages, I had to apply 5 layers of the mascara and the effect was vague. I even suspected I might have bought an empty bottle but it wasn’t the case. Very little of the mascara settles on the spiral…It seems like the mascara is intended for some dwarves with tiny lashes 😉
To sum up: Realash UP Mascara goes DOWN in my opinion.
